I especially like the Corelle weight for unbreakability and ease of handling. At first, I wasn't sure about the pattern because it's so different from my other everyday china. Nevertheless, the more I use it, the more I like it and it is elegant enough to use on the same table as my Lenox china if I need to. My only reservations about the product are the sizes of the salad plate and bowl. The salad plate is more the size of a saucer and the salad bowl is too small for the size salad and cereal portions that my family eats. On realizing this, one is reluctant to return the item due to it's weight and the expense of returning it. Perhaps the Amazon description of the Corelle needs to be more specific.
