Customer Review: Good value, not great quality though
Summary: 4 Stars
Dishes are very light weight, but seem to hold up decently. I don't like the way they feel when a contacted by a fork...kind of a gritty friction feeling and leaves some marks on the plate. Other than that, I think they are a good value for what I paid. I really liked the drinking glasses...good weight and feel. Overall I'm happy with Amazon and shipping; no broken dishes and the order came quickly.

This simple yet lovely Dinnerware Set in Enhancements features a scalloped edge against a clean white backdrop- elegant and sophisticated! This 16-pc. Set with Drinkware comes with 4 each of the following items: 10.25-in. Dinner Plate, 7.25-in. Salad/Dessert Plates, 18-oz. Soup/Cereal Bowl, and 16-oz. Cooler Glasses.CORELLE dinnerware is the original break and chip resistant glass dinnerware. Introduced in 1970, CORELLE is recognized worldwide for its legendary strength and durability. The first of its kind when developed, CORELLE glass dinnerware's underlying technology was an achievement of Corning Glass Works R&D scientists. Corelle glass dinnerware is made through a hub lamination process that thermally bonds three layers of glass: core glass in the middle, with top and bottom layers of very clear skin or glaze glass. The process creates a lightweight, durable, multi-layered product. In addition, the unique enamels used during the decorating process actually become part of the glass, so the patterns last as long as the plate.Durable enough for daily use and graceful enough for special occasions, the Corelle Enhancements dinnerware makes maximum use of minimal adornment. Each piece is pure white with a swirled, scalloped border and a smooth center. The look is compatible with plainly set tables or boldly colored linens. Created in a lamination process that combines two glasses, the dishware is strong, lightweight, and chip-resistant. It is also safe in the oven, convection oven, and microwave, simplifying steps from preparation through serving. With 16 pieces in all, this set includes four place settings, each with a dinner plate, a salad plate, a soup/cereal bowl, and a glass. All pieces are safe in the dishwasher and carry Corelle's one-year warranty.
