I'm sorry I bought it, It is hard to believe that, in a country that has made teapots for millenia, coupled with first-rate Corelle, they come up with a nice-looking, but non-functional teapot. It drips. The whistler is a low grade plastic that melts with the steam heat. If you're looking for something pretty and don't mind the lack of functionality, but it.
